TEFLTrainingWorld.com acts as a resource for people looking for teacher training courses and teacher training providers who wish to advertise their courses. Listings are paid for by most of the training providers presented on TEFLTrainingWorld.com.
Listings are included on an ‘as is’ basis using information submitted by a teacher training provider. The accuracy of the listing is the responsibility of the provider. Particularly, TEFLTrainingWorld.com is not able to establish whether a course is accredited in any fashion beyond the details submitted by the provider. Ideally, visitor reviews would highlight discrepancies in listing details.
Providers are encouraged to allow visitors to submit reviews of their courses, but the review function can be disabled at their request. Where a listing has the review function disabled, it would be advisable to do more research before purchasing training from that particular provider. The ratings function can not be disabled.
Where a provider permits a listing to receive reviews, comments are not edited in any fashion by TEFLTrainingWorld.com. Where a provider receives a negative review, the review can only be deleted on receipt of a formal (emailed) request from a provider and in the following circumstances:
1. It includes offensive or derogatory language.
2. It is malicious (as determined by TEFLTrainingWorld.com).
3. It is geared towards an individual rather than an institution per se. Often people who have not passed a course can feel a particular individual within an organization is to blame.
4. There is evidence it has been placed by one of the provider’s competitors.
A positive review will be deleted if there is suspicion (as determined by TEFLTrainingWorld.com) that is has been submitted by the provider. Other reviews will be removed at the discretion of TEFLTrainingWorld.com.
